Non-Alcoholic Options Flood Market
Sales of non-alcoholic alternatives are skyrocketing, and options are flooding the market right now.
During “Dry January,” a time when people give up alcohol for the month, this is helpful. Over the last year alone, there have been more than 70 new nonalcoholic beers, wines and spirits that have emerged, and most have less than half a percent of alcohol by volume.
Experts say these fake alcoholic drinks are becoming less of a substitute and more of a complement, which is a consumer goods that is often purchased with another, like peanut butter and jelly.
Studies claim that 82% of people who buy nonalcoholic beers, wines and spirits also buy traditional alcoholic drinks.
