Pictures – A Family Trip To Pilot Knob

Monday the girls and I took a trip to Pilot Knob State Park just east of Forest City.

We have passed the sign on I-35 about a million times but have never stopped.

I am glad we did.  What a beautiful place to escape into nature for a little while.

Our first stop was the tower.

The view from the top is awesome!

On the ground we found a couple of these official markings.

It may have taken years for us to stop at Pilot Knob for the first time, it definitely won’t take years for us to go back.
