Severe Weather Risk On July 4th

Two rounds of thunderstorms are forecast tomorrow, July 4th. Round 1 will move across the area in the morning with a few stronger storms possible. Then in the afternoon storms are expected to redevelop.

Large hail and damaging winds are the main hazards with pockets of heavy rain also possible. The track of the morning storms will help determine where the afternoon storms develop, so adjustments to this outlook are likely.
