Skippy Recalling 80 Tons Of Peanut Butter
Check the jar before you fix that lunchtime PB&J – Skippy is recalling more than 80 tons of peanut butter products.
According to the recall announcement, jars “may contain a small fragment of stainless steel from a piece of manufacturing equipment.”
No injuries have been reported so far. The following products are affected: Skippy Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter, 40oz Jar or Club 2-pack of 40oz jars.
Skippy Reduced Fat Chunky Peanut Butter, 16.3ox jar Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter Blended With Plant Protein, 14oz jar All products have a ‘Best if Used By’ date of May 2023.
