Slight Relief: Average Gas Price In U.S. Drops 6 Cents To $4.37
The average price of a gallon of gas in the U.S. has dropped 6 cents over the past two weeks to $4.37.
Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday that the slight decrease comes after nine straight weeks of price hikes totaling 98 cents.
However, the price at the pump is still $1.42 higher than it was a year ago.
Nationwide, the highest average price for gas is in Los Angeles at $5.99 per gallon.
