US Retail Sales Surge over Holiday Season
Despite the emergence of the Omicron variant, business has been booming for retailers over the holiday season.
Retail sales in the U.S. climbed 8.5 percent over the holiday season, marking the biggest annual jump in 17 years, according to a report released by Mastercard.
And that’s just brick-and-mortar sales. Online sales grew by 11 percent between November 1st and December 24th, per Mastercard.
