USDA Estimates How Much You’ll Pay For Groceries In 2022

You don’t need a government report to tell you that groceries are getting more expensive – but just how much more will we be paying at the checkout counter?

The USDA has released estimates for 2022, with food prices going up between 5% and 6%.

Restaurant prices will go up 5.5% to 6.5%. Some of the biggest price spikes are in the dairy aisle, with eggs and dairy products  up 6.5%. Fats and oils are expected to surge by 8.5%.
