Why Are Christmas Tree Sales Surging In The UK?

Price inflation is having an unexpected effect in the UK – it has people buying their Christmas tree early.

UK retail chain John Lewis says sales of artificial Christmas trees went up a 400 percent in the month of August.

The store’s top executive believes shoppers are “spreading the cost of Christmas – buy the tree now and get the presents on Black Friday”.
