Have you ever been eating out somewhere and had the best chicken wings and knew you were taking leftovers home? The next day, you heat them up and they just don’t hit the same as they did the night before.
According to one chef chicken wings are usually cooked twice in a restaurant. By cooking them twice it gives the wings that crispy skin and tender insides.
When you reheat it the next day you are now cooking it for the third time, making the texture a little tough.
There are some tricks you can do.
1. if you plan to microwave them let the wings sit out for 15 mins before microwaving.
2. turn them over every minute in the microwave.
