Why You Shouldn’t Post Photos Of Your Concert Passes

Posting concert photos to social media is standard practice these days – but there are a couple of things you should keep off the internet.
Namely, your tickets, concert passes, or laminates – because scammers might use your photos to create a counterfeit pass.
This is especially risky for restricted-access or staff passes, which could let strangers sneak into off-limits areas or smuggle banned items inside the venue.
Ticketmaster even has an official ‘Do’s &; Don’ts’ of sharing ticket pics – urging you to at least cover up the bar code before posting a ticket stub photo.
