⚠⛈ Strong To Severe Thunderstorms Possible Saturday Into Saturday Night

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are possible from early Saturday morning into the evening hours.

Severe weather is possible with a Slight Risk (2/5) of severe storms across all of central Iowa. The primary threats would be large hail and damaging wind, but a few tornadoes are possible as well.

Timing of the strongest storms is uncertain, but strong to severe storms are possible during the morning, late afternoon and evening, or possibly both.

Those participating in, or planning, outdoor activities should monitor weather conditions closely and be prepared to identify areas of shelter if necessary.
