Did Climate Change End Life On Mars?
New research suggests that climate change may have put an end to life on Mars.
A study published in the journal Nature Astronomy suggests that Mars once had a “favorable environment for microbial life”, with an atmosphere similar to Earth’s and oceans teeming with life forms.
However, a ‘significant climate shift’ event may have resulted in the arid wasteland we now find on Mars’ surface.
