The Habitat for Humanity of North Central Iowa's "Community Build-a-thon" will raise money to provide safe and affordable housing for families in need throughout North Iowa, as well as support area restaurants and businesses with local gift cards and merchandise as prizes.

The Spring Card/Game Playing Luncheon & Party on May 2, 2024 at 11:30am.  Attendees will enjoy a served luncheon with dessert ahead of an afternoon of card or game playing.  Advance tickets required.

When dedicated volunteer, Anita Ulwelling, passed away unexpectedly in January 2021, the Hormel Historic Home felt a calling to honor her legacy. May 2, 2024, Anita’s favorite polka band (Barefoot Becky & the Ivanhoe Dutchmen) and an assortment of Hotdishes come together for the Barefoot Becky Polka & Hotdish Bash.  Advance tickets required.

DES MOINES, IOWA (April 1, 2024) –April donors bring May lives saved! This month,  roll up your sleeves and save lives with LifeServe Blood Center. LifeServe Blood Center  is calling all community members to participate in blood donation drives throughout the  month of April, in your neighborhood. Each donation bolsters the blood supply for local  hospitals, and LifeServe aims to emphasize the crucial role that each donor plays in  supporting healthcare services within their own communities. 

Come and have some fun a the YMCA, and learn all the ways to stay healthy in the community this summer! It's Healthy Kids Day at the Mason City Family YMCA from 10 AM until Noon on Saturday May 4th.
