Google Fiber Rated Fastest High-Speed Internet
What’s the fastest internet around? Google Fiber, according to a new survey.
According to Highspeedinternet.com, Google Fiber leads the pack with an average download speed of 160 megabits per second (mbps).
Verizon Fios ranked second with an average speed of 138 mbps, followed by MetroNet (135.2) and Cox Internet (134.5).
Xfinity ranked last out of the five at 131.6 mbps. Google and Xfinity tied for the highest maximum speed, with 2,000 mbps – twice as fast as the other services offer.
