Study Suggests Pfizer, Moderna Vaccines Are Safe For Pregnant Women
A new study has shown promising results suggesting that the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are safe for pregnant women.
The report, which looked at 35,000 U.S. women, found the rate of miscarriages and other pregnancy complications weren’t noticeably different than before the pandemic.
All authorized vaccines are currently available for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Some studies have shown that pregnant women are at greater risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
The mRNA Covid-19 vaccines made by Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna do not appear to pose any serious risk during pregnancy, according to new data published in the New England Journal of Medicine https://t.co/fEYLvtQe6e
